Here at Ask an ECE, we want to help recognize the hard working day care providers in your centre. Whether it is parents nominating their own day care provider or supervisors/staff nominating their peers, tell us about it. We will pick a new daycare worker each month to showcase. The winner will receive a certificate and small gift to show our appreciation for all their hard work.
Nominating someone is easy. Simply fill out our online form. Make sure to include what makes that person so special and how they go above and beyond the call of duty to make each child’s day special.
We will post first names only. Centre names are optional and will only be included if you fill it out. Only registered users of AskanECE.com can nominate someone for this award. Addresses are confidential and used for mailing prizes only.

I want to nominate my entire team. Never have I been so fortunate to work with such wonderful people. Everyone goes out of their way to help and support each other. They are more of a family than a team of colleagues. I receive positive comments daily from parents as they drop off or pick up their children. My team are the reason my job is so easy. They make coming to work everyday a pleasure.

Kat spends her days with the preschool/after school kids, as well as being a supervisor. She does respite care and driving for families in need. She seems to be "on call" 24/7 and her centre sure is lucky to have her.

Theresa, Utica Community Daycare

Theresa is the toddler teacher and assistant supervisor at Utica Community Daycare. She is my right hand woman and helps keep me on my toes and the centre running smoothly. She constantly shows her love for her career and her devotion to our centre from her creative and fun programming to helping with fundraising and our child care expansion project. Parents regularly tell me how much their children enjoy coming to daycare and how Theresa’s name is mentioned at home on evenings and weekends.
I nominated Theresa for the inaugural Daycare Worker of the Month Award because she deserves to know she makes a difference everyday in my life, the staff team’s lives, the parent’s lives and of course the children’s lives. Thank you Theresa, for a job well done.
