Frugal Trampoline Idea

As previously mentioned in the Christmas Present Thread here is my frugal trampoline idea.

You can purchase a brand new round trampoline for around 30.00. You can than purchase a chin up bar for roughly 15.00

Place the chin up bar in a door frame at your child's level (make sure that your taking into account the height of the trampoline) to use to hang on to for balance and place the trampoline in the appropriate spot near for great jumping action.

As the child grows and doesn't need anything to hang on to you can remove the chin up bar from the location (and you can use it yourself for exercise since they come with two sets of holders for it)

The best part about this is the frugal price, no annoying music/sounds, you can use the chin up bar for yourself as well as the trampoline since the weight class will be higher on it. This is a great frugal idea for those who have older children but you want to accomodate your younger ones as well!

Fantastic Idea! I was thinking that the trampoline would be fun for me too. Great idea!

ohh You just made me remember that I bought a small kid trampoline like a year ago, for 10$ new at toys r us cause the box was in bad shape. man she's gonna love that

Great idea!

We don't have any doorways wide enough to put the trampoline close enough to - I wonder would a towel rack attached to the wall work as well?

I don't see why not if you made sure to screw it into the studs.

even a piece of dowel would work..just buy longer than you would need cut off a small pieces and use those as your spacer, drill holes through the dowel and the spacers.

I would do that over a towel rack as it would be sturdier and wouldn't hurt little hands since it's bigger (depending on your towel rack)

You could put it on a wall anywhere too
