As much as I hate to admit it..i have a picky eater!
lately it's been "No meat, no meat, noooooo meat"
He won't eat meat (any kind...ok he will eat hotdogs/hamburgers but it isn't always real meat), potatoes, beans, lentils etc.. I don't do PB with him yet so no protein there...he hates hummus and I have no clue about tofu.
So, how can I get protein into my child? I've tired hiding meat into stuff and still no go..he can spot it a mile away.

Flinstones has a version of vitamin for picky eaters. I think they even go as far as specifying which foods the kids avoid. I know I saw a bunch of them when Mia needed vitamins with iron. That might be a start to ensure he's getting what he needs. Will he drink a toddler formula, they have some in yummy flavours, that might also fill in any gaps until you can find something he will eat.
I used to eat something called TSP when I went off meat for awhile. I believe it is a soy protein and it tastes like nothing, so it's easy to add to whatever you want. I used it in spaghetti sauce instead of meat and in tacos too.
I will have to look for those vitamins..do you remember which store you saw them at?
Nope, he refused to drink toddler formula..I've tried the plain and the vanilla...
Awww yes, TSP....I might have to look into that....I hate having a picky eater...wanna trade yours for mine for eating...he even refuses soup!
Don't get too excited, mine has started "I no like it, Mommy" before she even tastes it. Even if she loved 2 days ago.
The vitamins were at Loblaws I believe. I remember having to look thru them all until I found the one with just iron.
LMAO!
Welcome to the club..that has been my guys motto for a few weeks..put bowl, blate in front of him "i don't like it or I don't want it momma"
sigh
Oh my DD has been doing that lately. And she use to be a good taster before. Hopefully it's just a phase.
I hope this phase passes soon. DD now tells me I no like chicken. Yesterday she LOVED chicken. My old standbys are no longer reliable. She was sick last week and it threw everything off. She refused to eat at all. Even refused ice cream and now she's pickier then ever. ARGH two year olds!!!!
