We're not sure what's wrong with DS. Spent two hours waiting at the walk-in clinic last night, only to be told there's nothing wrong with him. I know there is something wrong, he's running a fever and not acting like himself. If it's still like this Monday morning, I'm bringing him to our own dr. So frustrating when you KNOW something's wrong and they can't tell you what.
In the meantime, he is refusing to eat. Well, that's not entirely true. I tempted him with a mini box of smarties. Other than that, and maybe 1/3 of an eggo, that's all we've gotten into him since yesterday at lunch. He is drinking, but just won't eat.
I'm frustrated, I know something's wrong with my kid and the dr just checked his ears and blew me off. He didn't even run a fever when he was teething.
Tips, advice, to help me figure out what to do for him?
Are there any other symptoms or just a fever? DS had a horrible fever for two or three days and then developed a rash.....which turned out to be Rosela.
I hope he's feeling better soon!
ohhh poor little thing. I know that around here they won't do much about a fever til it gets over 102F or that it lasted 72 hours. Hopefully he will feel better really soon.
Mia had roseloa too. Doc thought it might have been her ears brewing something since there were no other apparent causes of the fever, then it was gone as quick as it had come and left behind a rash for a few days. Hope he's feeling better soon!
Any change in the situation? Any signs of a rash? Hope you get an answer soon.
